Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We had snow here in NC for the first time in years. It was so much fun to have snow during the holiday! We had a very nice holiday although it was fairly low key. My work schedule was extraordinarily busy for most of the fall, so I was ready for a chance to slow down a bit. I caught up on magazines, cleaned up at home, tried some new recipes (I'll be sharing them), and just enjoyed resting. It was so nice!!

Santa was very good to me this year. I got some Herend and also a new Le Creuset braiser. I love my new braiser and have enjoyed using it.
Thomas and I gave my sister a pink Kitchenaid mixer and were so excited to give it to her! Okay, so maybe Thomas wasn't quite as excited about it as I was. Ha ha! I love my Kitchenaid and know she will enjoy using hers.

Have a great weekend!

Ahhh, I've always wanted a Le Creuset and would love to hear all about your cooking in it. Can't wait to read something on the blog about. I like your sister's blog too and really like her pink KitchenAid. I have a green one because they didn't have pink ones 6 years ago, but I so would have gotten a pink one if they did. :)

We sure enjoyed sharing Christmas with you guys this year and the snow made it even more special!!! I'm glad you liked your braiser. I can't wait to hear about your new recipes. I sure love my new cookbooks, my All Clad pots and Lilly pajamas. You guys spoiled me! Adelaide will love her mixer!!! Glad you enjoyed your time off from work. Love & blessings, Mom!

Love the pink Kitchen Aid mixer! I got mine like 10 years ago when the only cool color was red. I love it though! Can't wait for you to share some of your recipes! Hope you are having a great 2011 so far!

What a great piece of Le Creuset. Maybe I will blog about my Le Creuset that I got for Christmas tonight...

And classic mixer. So nice of you to give it to her this Christmas. She will use it for forever!

I'm not understanding why Thomas wasn't equally excited about the Kitchen-Aid mixer. (Heh, heh, heh.)

I was grateful to be wrapping goodies for you two. smiling like a big goofball as I did it!
