Is it springtime yet?

Hi everyone! Sorry for the hiatus. Work is going well, but we have several upcoming deadlines so things have been busy. I have been traveling the past few weeks and haven't had much free time. I have missed reading all your blogs and hearing about what is going on in your lives. The weather today is horrible so I am hanging out at home.

While I was traveling I managed to get a bit of shopping in. I like to think of it as a way to boost the economy. ;) I have found tons of cute stuff at Target recently. I bought this ruffled blouse in ivory and black. My sister bought it first and I copied her. That is usually how it goes, we tend to by the same things at different times. Then we see each other and are excited to show the other person what we bought recently ... and it is the same stuff. Ha ha! As usual, the pictures on Target.com are horrible. It is much cuter in person.

When I was at Ulta last I came across the Best of Stila Kit. It contains kitten, wheat, golightly, and mystic eye shadows. A full size illuminating tinted moisturizer (AMS, I am giving this to you next time I see you), lip glaze, convertible color, and a mascara. This entire kit was $40 which is the cost of 2 eye shadows. If you combine it with the $5 off Ulta coupons from InStyle magazine, it is really cheap.

I also bought the Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Stick. It goes on like a lipstick, but it is lighter and creamier. I love it.
My husband and I are going to dinner tonight and maybe to see a movie. Tomorrow night we are having friends over for dinner and games. I have no clue what I am making yet. I hope you all have a nice weekend!

J Crew?

I hope you all are having a nice week. I ordered a few new things from J Crew last week that I love. I got the Edie dress in black. I think this is going to be my new go to dress. I can wear it to work with a cardigan and heels, and I can wear it on the weekend with sandals. You cannot tell in the picture, but it has pockets.
I also bought the Victoria ruffle cami in ivory. It works well under jackets and cardigans.

The most random thing happened when my order came in. I live in a condo on the second story. When I came home, the UPS driver left the sticky note on the main door to my building saying that my package was left on the deck. I checked out front, I checked my downstairs neighbors deck, etc, and found nothing. So I called J Crew and they put out an APB on my package. I assumed that either it wasn't delivered or it was lost. The next morning my husband looked outside and my package was on our second story porch. Apparently the UPS driver launched it up onto our porch. I am glad it was found, but I never expected it there.

I am thinking about going to the J Crew distribution center this weekend. Have any of you been there before? Any tips?

Please let Melissa know she’s better off. She’d be wiping that Nancy boy’s tears for the rest of her life and sometimes you need a man to be the strong one. Maybe you could introduce her to Jack Bauer.

What did you all think about the Bachelor last night!? Honestly, I was thrilled when I saw Melissa and Jason together at the end of the episode. He seemed to really care about her and I was genuinely happy for them. When he revealed his feelings on WHATFR, I was shocked!! I think it is about time he mans up and follows through. Now I am starting to wonder what really happened when he got divorced ...
