Target Pink Items

Pink is my all time favorite color. During the month of October, I have the opportunity to buy lots of pink products which benefit breast cancer research. Target featured several cute pink products in their ad this weekend.

I bought this pink Brita pitcher last weekend. Water tastes so much better to me when it is filtered. Brita will donate $50,000 to City of Hope.

I love this pink cupcake carrier. It costs $14.99 but I don't think any money goes to breast cancer research.

The Pink Kitchenaid! I got one of these when I got married and I absolutely love it. If you don't have one, I highly recommend it. Kitchenaid will donate a minimum of $1,000,000 to Susan G. Komen during 2008. If you do buy a pink Kitchenaid, remember to register your mixer to donate an additional $50.

I have been contemplating buying a pink Dyson. Everyone I know who has one loves it. Now is a great time to buy one because your purchase can benefit breast cancer research. Target and Dyson have joined together to donate $1,400,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In addition, you will receive a $100 Target gift card with purchase.

Has anyone seen any other "pink" products to benefit breast cancer charities?

I hope you all have a nice week!

A Pink Dyson!?! I've been wanting a Dyson to help me combat the fluffy clouds of dog fur, and this might just be the excuse I need.

I haven't heard of any other breast cancer research products specifically, but my Target had an aisle devoted just to items supporting such research.

I recently had a friend diagnosed with breast cancer, so I really love and appreciate all these great things (plus, they're PINK!) too...I work for Clinique and have noticed that pretty much every cosmetics line has a featured item or collection dedicated to breast cancer research...they're all very cute and fun!

I know that in an earlier post you mentioned that you are looking for Christmas cards... so I just wanted to stop by and tell you that Swoozies has 20% off till Sept. 30th. Code: HOLIDAY20. Also, you may want to look at tinyprints.com - they have cute photo cards and very reasonable prices!
Hope you are doing well and having a nice week!

I wanted the pink Kitchen aid mixer when I was registering, and my mother told me no. To this day I still want the pink one even though I have a boring white one. I have seen a lot of pink kitchen gadgets to benefit breast cancer awareness.

My favorite is definitely the Kitchenaid. I love buying pink things, but if I'm not careful, I soon won't own anything of a different color! That's great that it's benefiting research.

Oh My Goodness Miss Lauren, there just seem to be so many pink products out there, it is hard to think of them all.

There is actually a site online offering "go pink" banners for blogs, and I know there are several cosmetic companies with products benefitting Breast Cancer charities. Avon is one I believe, and Estee Lauder has a lipstick as well.

I know all my Yoplait yogurt lids are tied into an effort from Yoplait who donates a fair amount every year, and there is also a BMW Drive event in October.

Ralph Lauren has a number of pink products and the charity *is* cancer-related, but I think the $$$ go directly to Sloan-Kettering and I'm not sure it is breast cancer specifically.

I do know that Bobby Jones has a women's pink sweater this year with proceeds going to research, I hope to post it tomorrow or Friday.

Good for you on noting the cupcake carrier provides no money to a charity, there are so many items it is hard to remember to check each of them for actual charitable donations or activities.

Good topic!

You are so funny with the pink. Growing up with three girls in the house, we somehow didn't like pink, now I LOVE it! Great finds, cute cupcake holder, it's been a long time since I've made cupcakes, but I might just need that! Love love the Kitchen Aid, use it all the time!

So I was at Tar-jay today and as I was checking out there was majah drama over pink dysons. I guess several were missing and the security guard/police guy and manager were in a fit. They ran over to my check out gal to ask her if she sold one and all but asked her to sketch the customer's likeness to verify that the person he saw was the person she just sold one to. I about fell over laughing. I know theft is bad but all that fuss over one missing vacuum? They just kept saying over and over "the pink one? you sold her the pink one? the woman had medium blonde hair right? to her shoulders?" my poor little check out gal!
