Sweet Amelia over at Well I Do Declare tagged me to put together my bucket list. A bucket list is a list of things you want to do in your lifetime. There is a movie out now about this called The Bucket List. I haven't seen it yet, but I hear it is good. Okay, here goes!
1. I want to visit Paris. I have never been there even though I studied French from middle school until college. The French language was so much fun, but when I got to the point that I had a French history class entirely in French (including the history textbook), I decided it was time to refocus. I love French food, and I have the best recipe for creme brulee which I will post later.
2. I want to be a mom. I am looking forward to having children down the road. I want to have between 2 and 4 children. I have always wanted to adopt a child too, so I hope that can happen.
3. I want to live in a house with a yard so that I can plant a garden. I have to have stargazer lilies, hydrangeas, peonies, and cherry trees. I also want lots of porches and a porch swing on my house.
4. I want to have the opportunity to travel. My husband and I went to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon and had so much fun. It was so nice to be together with no cell phones or other distractions. We are planning a trip somewhere for our second anniversary.
I want to have the opportunity to enjoy my life, but I don't have a huge list of specific things that I have to do. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I think I have a great life. I have a wonderful husband, a great family, and good health. More than anything, I just want to enjoy each day of my life and the blessings I have.

Sadly, after seven years of French I don't think I speak any either! I can understand and read French, but I have trouble speaking.
Great list! I love Paris- been twice now. Traveling really is something everyone should do (if they have the time and money). There is nothing like experiencing some place totally new!

I want to go to Paris too! I spent a week in the south of France last month, but no Paris. I was bummed. Still, my mom and I are planning to go in a few years. I'm like you--after studying French I can now only read and write. It's sad!

it makes me laugh sometimes when i read your posts... they sound so much like something i would say! especially about being a mom and wanting a porch swing!!
